  We need a thorough training of auto electrician training through apprentice training that should last at least no less than four years,( one year at college and three years PRACTICAL TRAINING with an appropriate employer).More training must be on repairs of auto electrical units and wiring,and motor ancialliaries,the new artisans have become fitters of new units and cannot carryout repairs.Training must be enable the new artisan to be employable across all sectors Mining,Agricultural ,Construction and Automotive,Its so difficult for one to be employed in the mining sector for example because one does not have section 13, and yet the candidate may be good.Colleges should invite technicians from CAT,KOMATSU,etc,BMW,MERC BENZ etc,JOHN DEERE, MASSEY FERG etc,LIEBHERR,GROVE Cranes etc to come and lecture to students on electrical systems of their machines for a period,At the the end of the day we look forward to have an employable artisan.
